Have been selling on Bonanza for a few…

Have been selling on Bonanza for a few years. Not as much sales as on eBay but why place all eggs in one basket? Most sales comes from Google Shopping so it's very important to list your items correctly.

I only wished that they could let us sellers remove PayPal as payment option after we have activated Stripe. Stripe is way better and they also has lower fees. PayPal is just expensive and overall boring with 0 customer service.

The Coleman tent that I order from…

The Coleman tent that I order from Bonanza was delivered on schedule when I email Bonanza a support team member Brianna responded back to me in a reasonable time and was very appreciative and the Coleman tent that I order from Bonanza was cheaper than other sites on line. Thanks again going camping next week can’t wait to use it. From Your Happy Camper 👍🏼😁

They took payment from me and closed my account the next day.
Do not fall into their trap, they close your account without giving any reason and do not refund your payments.
They already write this on the terms page, "suspend or terminate your membership (without refunding any fees)"

The message they wrote to me:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. Our system is preventing us from opening an account on Bonanza for you at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience. It is our priority to keep Bonanza the safest possible marketplace for our buyers and sellers to use. Due to security restrictions, our team is unable to provide further details involved with this action.

Fortunately, we are able to recommend a few great alternatives such as ioffer.com or ecrater.com, both of which have strong monthly traffic and a good base of buyers and sellers. eBid.net is a good site for those who wish to deal in the auction format.

Once we got it back up I got 461 vies the next day

Misleading and dishonest business practices

My complaint to BBB: I decided to sell some computer and other electronic equipment. Reviews of bonanza.com were fairly decent and they offered a service to post items for free (see attached FAQ). Upon sale, they would then take certain fees. I understood this to be the case and accepted their fee structure.

I then received emails that I should "open the store." I thought it already was but went ahead and did so. I did NOT see any reference to a now MONTHLY fee of $25 and was unaware that this would be charged--if they stated this when I "opened" the store, it was NOT clear and I did not realize it until I received my c/c bill.

I immediately cancelled this "subscription" and contacted them requesting a refund. They refused, saying they'd already "provided a service" which was a service that yielded NOTHING. I removed my store and blocked them from placing further charges on my c/c.

I find their business model dishonest, misleading and their response arbitrary. I want my $25 returned immediately. I have uploaded the pertinent FAQs as found today, August 25,2022 on their website [done with BBB, not this site].

Completely fake. It's a major fraud full of scammers. Anything that looks good is fake... not just the items, but the sellers and good reviews.

HORRIBLE... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE... You will NEVER get anything but a robotic answer over and over... if you can actually find a phone number to call... which I did... it is a recording explaining they do not have actual people to talk to... I sent them 67 emails... and got 67 of the same STUPID response. They charged me a 17% fee on the one and only sale I had. STAY AWAY...

I was a reputable seller on Bonanza but they shut down my stores without any notice or direct contact telling me why or what I can do to fix whatever issue they had. So, to answer you, the sellers may be 100% legit but the site itself really I question how its run.

Ebay. I always get great customer service from ebay... as a seller. Bonanza provides no customer service; if you have an issue, they just keep sending the same "canned" response over and over... and I had one sale on Bonanza for which they charged me a 17% fee... then they took $25 more out of my bank account... I have addressed both of these issues with Bonanza... Regarding the huge 17% fee... they sent me about seven (7) of the same "canned" response. I wanted a lesser % fee since their website claims they always charge the "lowest fee possible"... just one "canned" response after another... If they would have offered a more reasonable % fee in order to provide me with satisfactory customer service. I would have been satisfied; but they did not... after the seventh "canned" response... I closed my booth... And NOW... EVEN WORSE... they took an additional $25.00 out of my bank account... and for what I have no idea. I called the phone number which was listed with the transaction on my bank account and of course got a recording. I left my information, and it has been four days... and still no response. When you call ebay, you speak to a live person who works to solve your concerns... I HATE BONANZA... and you would think that BONANZA would not want RIDICULOUSLY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS... but they do not care. I moved all my ebay items to Bonanza to see if it was a better experience than ebay... ebay's fees are 10%... and they have a much larger shopping audience... and they have real customer service people that you can talk to. Bonanza has a much smaller shopping audience, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL, and their goal appears to be to charge sellers the most enormous fees that they can get away with. I never get online to post negative reviews... I generally get online to post about great customer service and great products... I like to keep things on the POSITIVE... but this is just not possible with BONANZA... they are like a Phantom Selling Platform... totally disgusted. I will be reporting BONANZA to the BBB and to the US Attorney General's Office. Very disappointing experience.

Best online site is Ebay.com , But they are far more stricter than others. They could easily ban you without any reason. Still eBay gets millions of hits, daily, which means regular sales.

I ordered an item on 12/3 and received a message indicating "your Bonanza transaction is complete" and was provided an order number. The e-mail indicated I would receive my tracking number no later than 12/6 and have yet to receive it. I've e-mailed the seller twice with no response and my account was debited back on 12/4. What do you recommend?

A:

I recommend that you don't use Bonanza. But since you have, contact Bonanza and give them a chance to rectify it. If they do not contact the Better Business Bureau in the state that Bonanza is register in and file a complaint. You will have to be persistent because it has been my experience that Bonanza doesn't care.

It likely will arrive by the end of the week if not contact your credit card company and do a charge back. Bonanza as a company is absolutely horrible but most sellers are ok.

Cancel your order call your bank or credit card to dispute the charge. It should not take more then a week to ship out a item within inside the United State. They should of provided a tracking. Good luck i never shop at Bonanza
